Hi Vanessa, our gluten-free cakes are indeed smaller in size than the 'regular' cakes, but they are also denser/heavier cakes in general, and that's a consequence of the ingredients (polenta and coconut) that make them gluten-free. That's also why we print 6-8 serves, instead of 8-10 serves for the other cakes, even though they could potentially serve just as many people with smaller slices, given the higher density. This is all very subjective, obviously, but we try to offer this information mostly as a reference to help customers with their menu choices. About the extra topping, you're correct, and we apologise for the oversight. It is indeed a jam made of real berries, from scratch, not just a pack of berries.
